Census 2022 extended

Statistics South Africa is urging citizens to take part in Census 2022.

The population count has now been extended to 20 March.

Stats SA encountered some logistical issues which hampered the campaign.

Statistician-general Risenga Maluleke says just over 3m South Africans have participated thus far.
