An industry leader in the Wholesale and Retail Sector which is based in Jouberton, North-West is
recruiting for an experienced and qualified Cashier.
Experience
The successful incumbent must possess at least one years’ experience relating to the duties of a
Cashier within a wholesale and retail establishment. Co-ordinate between various departments such as the Liquor store, Events management shop, and Computer shop.
Formal qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric)
Basic Computers skills are a must.
Responsibilities
Be willing to assist as required by management
Follow all procedural requirements and actions
Assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner
A keen focus on customer satisfaction and providing efficient and speedy service to customers
Maintain neatness in general operational areas
Sound know-how of scanning and labeling procedures
Able to weigh and count items for distribution
Pick and pack merchandise according to the required standards and procedures
Inherent requirements and skills applicable to this vacancy
Attention to detail and a great attitude
A strong commitment to customer care and confidence in dealing with people
Good problem -solving skills (willingness to learn and be corrected)
Reliable and dependable (punctuality is key)
Ability to work independently and as a team member
