South Africa has recorded 13,672 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24-hour reporting cycle.
The NICD said 317 more people have died.
Infections in the Western Cape stand at 3,707 and 3,911 in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
A total of 68,540 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
