Jacob Zuma court case postponed to July

The criminal trial of former president Jacob Zuma has been postponed to 19 July in the Pietermaritzburg high court, with both Zuma and his co-accused, Thales having earlier entered pleas of not guilty.
Zuma and Thales are accused of corruption, racketeering, and money laundering linked to the arms deal of the 1990s.
The court heard arguments from the defense for the removal of lead prosecutor, Advocate Billy Downer.
The defense claims that Zuma’s prosecution is political and Downer is biased.
The matter will be dealt with on 19 July, with the judge having made a concession to the defense to allow them to read arguments on Wednesday.
