Suspended ANC member Carl Niehaus says courts are captured

Suspended ANC member Carl Niehaus says the law is being abused. He was back in the Estcourt magistrate’s court on Thursday, facing charges for breaking lockdown rules.

Niehaus was arrested last year after rallying supporters outside the Estcourt prison where former President Jacob Zuma was imprisoned.

Niehaus says the only reason he is being charged, is because of his support to Zuma. The case will continue on Friday. More witnesses are expected to take the stand.
