You will now be able to apply for a home loan through Capitec Bank.
Capitec is the biggest bank by customers, but until now it hasn’t offered secured lending to finance home purchases.
The bank launched a ‘purpose lending’ option to finance cars earlier this year.
In its partnership with SA Homeloans, the bank is offering interest rates from 6 percent, one percentage point below prime.
