Western Cape: At 09H46 Tuesday morning Netcare 911 responded to a collision on West Coast Road in Melkbosstrand Cape Town.
Reports indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a truck were involved in a collision.
When medics assessed the scene they found that seven people had sustained fatal injuries and another eight people had sustained moderate to serious injuries.
Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further care.
