MAIN PURPOSE

To ensure the professional general management and excellent performance of The Private Hotel School (TPHS) in terms of its facilities, resources, sales, overall finances and student service delivery.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implement the national sales strategy and achieve Campus sales targets for TPHS (40%)
2. Management of Income and expenditure (10%)
3. Management of System Administration and facilities in and around the campus (10%)
4. To comply with regulations from accrediting and professional bodies and monitor a high standard of quality and excellence (15%)
5. Monitor the academic curriculum and from time to time teach management modules to ensure that students’ achievements correlate with the expectations from industry (20%)
6. Manage performance and development of Campus staff (5%)

REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS –

Management and Leadership,
Computer Literate,
Interpersonal skills
Excellent command of the English Language
Ability to close sales and be target driven
Self-motivated
Work well under pressure
Well-presented and professional
Good presentation skills
Computer skills (Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

EXPERIENCE

3 – 5 years’ experience in management activities of a small to middle size company

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification in Business or Hospitality Management / Sales & Marketing/Education NQF 7
BCOM/ Hospitality and Tourism/Education NQF8
