Cabinet has welcomed the latest employment figures which have surpassed pre-COVID-19 levels. The Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshaveni says the Quarterly Labour Force Survey which records an increase of nearly 400 000 jobs in the third quarter of this year shows that government’s economic recovery efforts are working.

She says, “The strong contributions to additional jobs of KwaZulu-Natal which was up by 152 000 jobs, Limpopo which was up by 70 000 jobs, North West which is up by 61 000 and Mpumalanga indicate the gradual but steady realization of the goal of the Economic Reconstruction and Recovery Programme commonly known as the ERRP of rebuilding better, stronger and inclusively.
