Songstress Busiswa Accuses a Famous Producer of Stealing Her Vocals

Busiswa addressed the matter of what was set to be a summer banger called “Umhlaba Wonke” will never see the light of day.
The song was produced by DJ, Gaba Cannal who is Protea Glen based producer. A tweep that had heard the single took to Twitter to find out why the song was not available on major digital streaming and downloading platforms, and that is where the drama all started.
Not mincing her words, Busiswa clarified that Gaba stole her vocals from a different beat and added them to the new track. This was done without her permission or knowledge, even when the track was being released. Ouch!
It’s because lekaka u @GabaCannal stole my vocals off a different song and used them without my consent. He forcefully made me a feature w/out authorization/permission/my knowledge & if he makes even a cent from the song, I’m ready to take all of it. https://t.co/fCdM6giKus

In response Gaba tweeted that in a way of apologizing, he was willing to give her all the credit for the song. But Busiswa made it clear that she was not having it, nor will ever. The Beyoncé approved musician made it clear that if you ever steal her vocals forget about your song seeing the light of day, ever!
Just remove my vocals & release your song mfondin. Simple. https://t.co/fM0vokMvVt

I’ll never say No to a good song if you ask me BEFORE you release if I even like it and APPROVE of it ; and get the paperwork right but get my CONSENT for crying out loud. Otherwise it’ll remain a bootleg mntase.
