Businessman kidnapped in Bryanston

CCTV footage shows 25-year-old Eyaaz Kholabhai being taken from his car dealership in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

There has been a rise in kidnappings over the past two years, with many linked to gang activity.

The Gauteng province has seen the highest number of these events.

Meanwhile, a 9-year-old girl was kidnapped in Thohoyandou in Limpopo on Thursday on her way back from school.

It is believed a ransom is being demanded.
