If you’re in charge of developing, deploying, and maintaining BI interfaces within a company and other sources of information, including query tools, data visualization and interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data modelling tools.

Responsibilities:
Setting business requirements for BI tools within the company through a need’s analysis approach.
Translating business requirements into technical requirements and articulating tasks that cover a user interface and reporting capabilities.
Leading BI software development, deployment, and maintenance managing the whole process to its deployment.
Report curation and data modelling and creating the structures by which data is stored.
Participation in data warehouse design.
Documenting contents in a data warehouse and meta-data storage.
Creating technical documentation for BI tools.
Taking a customer-centric rather than inward view on all structural development with a business view of incremental value.
Reference Number for this position is KB49036 which is a Permanent position based in Braamfontein offering a cost to company salary of R500k to R600k PA negotiable on experience and ability.

Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
3-6 years of managerial experience in managing a BI business unit.
Microsoft (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, MS-SQL, Azure, PowerBI)
Experience in FMCG environment will be an advantage
Concise report writing skills that complement the operational needs.
Data mining ability and horizontal opportunity identification.
Understanding data sources and different transaction applications.
Using the smallest fragment of information with the objective of turning it into actionable insight.
