#NationalShutdown: It will be ‘business as usual on Monday’, says Magwenya

The EFF-led national shutdown continues to dominate headlines across the country.

However, the government insists it will be business as usual on Monday.

Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya says police officers will be out in their numbers to ensure citizens and critical infrastructure are protected.

“The state has a responsibility to ensure that citizens on about their day tomorrow in a normal way, and when doing so,” said Magwenya.
