President Ramaphosa: South Africa supports expansion of BRICS membership

President Cyril Ramaphosa says South Africa supports the expansion of BRICS membership, saying the value extended beyond the interest of its current members.
Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa form the BRICS community.
More than 30 heads of state are attending the 15th BRICS summit in Johannesburg this week, under the theme “BRICS and Africa”.
Security has been beefed up and roads surrounding the venue at the Sandton Convention Centre will be closed until the end of the summit on Thursday.
The Summit will get underway on Tuesday in Sandton.
Over 40 heads of state are expected to attend.
Motorists and businesses in the area have been advised to take note of road closures.
Specifically – the corner of Maude and West streets, the corner of West Street and Alice Lane, and the corner of 5th Street and Alice Lane.
More road closures can also be expected along Midrand’s Gallagher Estate.

Popular South African DJ, producer, media personality, and businesswoman, DJ Zinhle has expressed displeasure after her latest song Thula was removed from Apple Music and iTunes.
The song, which features songstress Cici, was released in July this year. Taking to Twitter at the weekend, the businesswoman said she does not why the song was taken off some streaming platforms.
