Judgment expected in Brendin Horner case

The State has relied on weak evidence, riddled with contradictions.

That’s according to legal representatives for Sekola Matlaletsa and Sekwetje Mahlamba.

The two men are accused of murdering 21-year-old farm manager Brendin Horner last year.

The High Court sitting in Bethlehem heard closing statements on Thursday and judgment is expected to be handed down on Friday.

Both defence attorneys for the two accused say the state has failed to prove their clients are guilty beyond any reasonable doubt.
