WATCH: Dineo Ranaka breaks down in tears

Popular Mzansi media personality Dineo Ranaka made headlines this year after opening up about battling with depression. The radio and TV star has since kept her concerned fans up to date about her progress.

Early on Thursday morning this week, she shared that she has had another difficult week and struggled to get herself to do basic things such as shower and eat. In the comment section, she was showered with kind words from her fans and followers.

Depression was thrust into the spotlight earlier this year after former Kaya FM radio host Dineo Ranaka revealed that she was battling with mental health issues.

Taking to her Instagram page, the reality TV star opened up about her mental health struggles and left fans feeling very concerned for her wellbeing.

Since then she has been to a mental health facility and showered with support from her SA fan base.

While she has had some good days, early on Thursday morning she opened up about having a difficult week.

In another Instagram post, Dineo details how she struggled to get out of bed on Monday morning and just how difficult her week has been in general.

She also became teary-eyed while discussing songstress Lira’s interview and how she has learned that it’s okay to let herself feel the way she feels.

Many headed to the comment section to pray for the media personality. A lot of them shared kind words of encouragement.
