Responsible for annual brand and product plans, sales and unit growth and achieving brand GP%

 Review, analyse and adjust product and brand performance against strategies  Develop innovative monthly product promotions which support category and brand strategy

 Brand forecasting and stock control

 Analyse and keep well-informed about current market trends, identify gaps in the portfolio and regular investigation of new innovation and developments

 New product development, including research, planning, briefing, liaising with suppliers and designers, sourcing novelty items, user trials, copy writing and new product launches

 Compile competitive, product research including pricing¸ benefits and competitive benchmarks

 Customer needs analysis and insights

 Prepare all necessary information on product ingredients, copy writing, reports and benefits for launch, press release, marketing info, training info, sales aids for the monthly product catalogue and newsletter

 Monitor and review GP%, stock turn and performance of brands and SKUs and take corrective action

 Supervise and drive certain work streams within the departmen

Candidate Requirements
Grade 12 and relevant tertiary studies (Marketing qualification or equivalent) and 4 years+ demonstrable marketing experience in a direct selling environment
