Bouncer stabs his ex-girlfriend’s mom in revenge that she caused their breakup
He was not happy his girlfriend had moved on, believing her mother encouraged it. So on Thursday he attacked mamazala Luis Simone and stabbed the 55-year-old to death.
Her ex blamed her mum for the breakup.
The suspect then handed himself over to police.
Luis’ daughter, Nkateko, (27) said her bouncer boyfriend was a bully and was abusive.
“He thought he couldn’t be defeated because of his body,” said Nkateko.
“I left because of the abuse and he’s not happy with me moving on, yet he lived with someone else.”
Her ex blamed her mum for the breakup.
“He said she interfered in his affairs. But she had nothing to do with my decision. He killed my mother for nothing,” she said.
Nkateko said her ex thought he was larger than life.
“He bullied us because he was big and he killed my dear mum who was my pillar of strength,” she said.
“She didn’t like what he did to me and the worst part was that he didn’t even support his child.”
She said her ex threatened her mother with violence on the day she was killed.
“My mother went to the police station to report him before she died,” Nkateko told Daily Sun.
“She found him waiting for her when she came back and he stabbed her.
“My mother then ran to the neighbour after she was stabbed and died in that yard.”
Neighbour Geelboy Koki (60) said he was sleeping when he was woken up by residents saying there was a body in his yard.
“My neighbour didn’t deserve to die like this,” he said.
Sergeant Khensani Mathebula of Etwatwa Police Station said a murder case was opened.
