Candidate Requirements
What’s the role?
You will be responsible for:
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations (between trial balance and management accounts)
Compiling month-end management pack schedules in excel from information in the accounting package.
Capturing cash book entries.
Capturing month end reporting journals (provisions, deprecation, instalment sales, accruals etc).
Preparing monthly Vat returns via e-filing.
Capturing supplier and expense invoices.
Reconciling foreign and local creditors.
Preparing debtors statements.
Maintaining a structured filing system of supporting documentation (POD’s, POP’s, export documentation etc)
Preparing bank reconciliations.

Matric
Relevant bookkeeping degree or diploma
At least 5 years’ bookkeeping experience
Proficient in Excel (lookups, pivot tables etc)
Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite
Experience working on Pastel Evolution

Excellent analytical skills with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment time management skill essential.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong administration skills
Highly trustworthy
