One of the financial consulting firms are currently on the lookout for a Bookkeeper. My client is looking for a strong Bookkeeper that has been involved in the payroll function as well as reporting and SARS function.
They are looking for an individual that will grow into the role. Someone with the right mind set and attitude.
As a Bookkeeper, you will responsible for the following:
Income and expenses
Amounts owed to company
Amounts company owes to others
Bookkeeping to Trial Balance (TB) – drawing up and extracting TB from above books
Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet (BS) – extract Financial Statements, Income Statements and BS from TB
Assist with salaries and wages
Using Cashback and GL and Subsidiary Ledgers (debtors and creditors)
Purchase journals
Monthly journals
Reconcile and balance above books monthly
Assist Accountant with management reports (monthly and quarterly)
Qualifications:
Relevant diploma / Degree
5+ Years’ experience in the same role
Quickbooks is beneficial
Skill:
Investment Environment would be beneficial
