The Run Jozi hitmaker partnered with Vodacom to launch his new venture, which is called the ‘AKA Beam World’ app. AKA is following in the footsteps of the Kardashians and his ex-girlfriend Bonang Matheba by launching his very own mobile app… but his fans are not impressed with the price.
The app “will reveal personal and never-before-seen content to AKA’s fans, allowing unprecedented access” to his life. Users will also be able to stream his new album, Touch My Blood. While many of his fans were excited about the app, some questioned the R3-a-day price, which means forking out R90 plus a month. “I don’t care about context, but broer clearly doesn’t know his fans,” one Twitter user wrote. Another added: “I can’t a whole R90.”
