Bonang Matheba’s Durban July dress weighed 9kg: My entire body was in pain
The 2019 Vodacom Durban July has come and gone, and the fashion at the event had everybody talking.
One of the standout pieces was a gorgeous ombre beaded Gert-Johan Coetzee dress worn by Bonang Matheba.
The dress, made up of different shades of orange and red, was meant to replicate a sunset.
In a video shared on Twitter by the B Force fan account, Gert can be seen putting the ensemble together before the event, describing his vision for the piece.

Spotting the clip online, Bonang let everyone in on a little secret – according to the star, the dress weighed around 9 kilograms. “My entire body was in pain,” she added.
