Bokgabo Poo’s family feels let down by SAPS
Bokgabo Poo’s mother says the family have been let down by the police and the NPA.
Tsholofelo Poo said, “[for the] past couple of months, we were anticipating that we’ll finally get justice so that we can start our healing process.”
“It’s been very difficult knowing that we haven’t had answers yet. We were hoping that Ntokozo [Zikhali] was going to tell us what really happened to our daughter and who else was involved.”
“It’s a very trying moment…when we got to court and we saw how the case being presented, we could tell that we were not going get justice because the investigating officer really failed us…he presented a poor case to the NPA who also failed dismally in actually fighting for justice for Bokgabo.”
“Bokgabo must be an example to the people who did this to her that they must stop killing our children.”
“Bokgabo was an innocent soul who could’ve one day being something better in society rather than being a person like Ntokozo.”
