Bodies Believed to Be Missing Police Officers Recovered in Hennops River… Police have recovered bodies believed to be those of three police officers who disappeared last week while travelling to Polokwane. The remains of a man and a woman were discovered on Monday, and authorities have since confirmed that the woman’s body has been positively identified as one of the missing officers.

Constables Cebekhulu Linda, Keamogetswe Buys, and Boipelo Senoge went missing last Wednesday while travelling from Bloemfontein to their deployment post in Limpopo. Their disappearance prompted a large-scale search, and police later offered a R350,000 reward for information leading to their whereabouts.
Three police officers involved in the investigation confirmed that forensic teams are working tirelessly to verify the identities of the other remains found. Brigadier Thandi Mokoena stated, “We are committed to uncovering the full truth of what happened and bringing those responsible to justice.”
Colonel Sipho Masondo added that the recovery operation was carried out under challenging conditions, while Captain Lerato Mahlangu urged the public to continue assisting with any information that could aid the investigation. The search continues as police work to bring closure to the families and colleagues of the missing officers.
