SACP General Secretary, Blade Nzimande, has taken a jab at EFF leader Julius Malema and his party’s land reform programme.
Nzimande said the SACP is against unplanned land grabs.
He said the EFF doesn’t have solutions for South Africa.
Nzimande said the EFF will not win the upcoming general elections.
“We are against unplanned land grabs. I must say I am not Julius Malema. I am Blade Nzimande and there is a big difference between the two of us. They do not have solutions for this country, they shout slogans… they are not going to win the election. It is important that I say that. I disagreed with him when he was in the ANC… we don’t like populists like him either, the feeling is mutual,” he said.
The SACP general secretary was speaking during the eNCA public debate, at the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg earlier on Saturday.
