Stage 2 blackouts underway
After a brief reprieve, Eskom has implemented Stage 2 blackouts until 4 pm Monday afternoon.
Thereafter, Stage 3 power cuts will kick in until 5 am on Tuesday.
The country will then move between Stages 1 and 2 for the rest of the week.
The utility says the need for Stage 3 is because of breakdowns and servicing due to planned maintenance.
Stage 1 loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 today until 05:00 on Monday. Thereafter,
