Black Coffee’s son accepts Male Artist of the Year award on his behalf

DJ Black Coffee, one of South Africa’s best in the business, has received the Male Artist of the Year award at the 2019 SAMAs. He’s currently on tour and could not accept it in person, but his eldest son was proud to do so on his behalf.
DJ Black Coffee is very busy and one of South Africa’s most popular disc jockeys. He is on tour at the moment, doing his thing quite brilliantly. He won the Male Artist of the Year Award at this year’s SAMAs, and because he is in Italy he couldn’t accept the award in person. However, his eldest son, Esona, was happy and very proud to accept on behalf of his dad.
Black Coffee took to his Instagram to share his own kind of pride – in his son. It almost sounds like he is prouder of seeing his son accept the award than bagging it in the first place. Black Coffee also won the Best Collaboration award for his track Drive that features David Guetta and Delilah Montagu. The track also scooped up a clubbing TV award for its music video. Congrats, Black Coffee! The rewards are well-deserved.
