#BigBrotherTitans: What viewers really think of Big Brother Titans

Big Brother Titans premiered on Sunday night at Konka in Soweto and fans of the show are already picking their faves.

The launch featured performances by Boohle, D’Banj, Deep London, Bontle Modiselle, and the Bontle Modiselle Dance Studio.

Like any other show, things are picking up slowly with tweeps warming up to three contestants, Ipeleng, Yemi, and Thabang.

The reality television series brings together 20 Nigerian and South African housemates under one roof with $100,000 (about R1.7m) up for grabs for the winner.

Big Brother Titans will have two co-hosts. Lawrence Maleka is the host from South Africa, and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is the host of Big Brother Naija.

Here are some of the reactions below:

Nomsa Philiso, executive head of P\\programming: M-Net Channels, said viewers can expect #BBTitans to be more than just the biggest season yet: “Both Big Brother Naija and Big Brother Mzansi are massive hits in their own right and with Big Brother Titans we are setting the entertainment bar even higher.

“We can’t wait to see how the housemates adapt to their new, dynamic environment, and to one another. We know viewers will find people to root for and people to root against, and we look forward to the conversations and engagement that will follow the show throughout its run.”

Big Brother Titans airs live 24/7 on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29. It’s also streaming on Showmax in more than 50 territories, including the UK and New Zealand.
