Big Nuz Co-founder Reunited With Groups Surviving Member Danger

Kwaito musician Sfiso Mshengu – better known as “Bhar” – is reportedly finally returning to Big Nuz after more than two decades. According to Zimoja, Bhar and the sole surviving member of the Durban kwaito group, Mzi “Danger” Tshomela are reuniting to reserrect the group after Mampintsha’s passing. Bhar is one of the founding members of Big Nuz, but he decided go solo while the Umlazi band was still based in Johannesburg, before it got its big break.
According to the Uyabhampa singer, he was a member of the group in 1998, but decided to focus on his solo career in 2002, leaving three member; Danger, R Mashesha and Mampintsha.
R Mashesha, real name Sibusiso Nkomo, passed away in 2015 after a reported throat surgery complication. In December last year, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo passed away after suffering a stroke.
With Danger as the only member of Umlilo hitmakers, Bhar has reportedly started performing with him during gigs, as reportedly requested by Afrotainment boss, DJ Tira. The duo reported perfoed last week during the Miss King Cetshwayo District Municipality pageant at University of Zululand in Empangeni, Northern KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
According to a source, there’s an elephant in the room as DJ Tira and Bhar have unresolved issues. However, Bhar denied those claims. He also declined to comment on his allegedly return to Big Nuz. What issues are you talking about? We don’t have issues with DJ Tira, I am good with him,” Bhar said.
DJ Tira also echoed Bhar’s sentiments: “Whenever I see Bhar performing, I join him on stage, even last week I did the same. He continued: “There is nothing there, Danger is just doing his thing.
