Three years on and the report into the cause of the fire at the Bank of Lisbon is yet to be released.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) is demanding the release of the report.
In 2018 three firefighters lost their lives after trying to put out a fire at the Johannesburg building.
Scores of Gauteng health department workers had to evacuate after the building was engulfed in fire and smoke.
The DA says no one has been held accountable, and the families of the deceased deserve to know what happened.
The party says evidence points towards the Gauteng government ignoring multiple warnings about the unsafe nature of the building.
Ten of the building’s 24 floors were non-compliant before the fire.
