Bonang Matheba & one of the Major League DJz, Banele spark dating rumours and this is why
Bonang Matheba is arguably South Africa’s leading media personality and the fans always want to know what’s going on with her love life.
The last time she was linked to a man it was Banele Mbere one half of the Major League DJz. She never came out to claim him but the streets are convinced something happened between them.
Last year the story broke that the Queen B* had found her King B* in the arms of Banele. The speculations gained traction as the paparazzi-style images of the two started circulating on the internet. It seemed that people had been sitting on the images, waiting until it was a story to leak the images. One, in particular, featured Bonang gifting her supposed man a customized bottle of the House of BNG, with the title of his then-latest project, “Ase Trap Kepina Tsa Ko Kasi,” with now household name, Focalistic.

The two never actually categorically denied the rumors of their relationship, but simply just let the story of their suspected relationship die down slowly. However, every now and then we would be reminded that maybe the two still have a thing going on. For instance, when last were Nadia and Bonang friends publicly? Why did Kamo Mphela that was rumored to have date Banele, shade the Queen during her interview with MacG? How did Bonang and Mihlali suddenly form a “friendship.”
