NPA welcomes denial of Nandipha Magudumana’s bail application
The National Prosecuting Authority has welcomed the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court’s decision to deny bail for Thabo Bester’s alleged partner in crime Dr. Nandipha Magudumana.
The NPA’s Phaladi Shuping says while they await a possible appeal, they will focus on concluding their investigation.
“From the onset we have been saying that it would not be in the best interest of justice for Dr Magudumana to be released on bail and fortunately the court granted the decision in favour of the NPA,” he said.
Magudumana’s bail application was dismissed in the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court on Monday.
