Mzansi celebs go crazy over Bafana Bafana’s unexpected #AFCON2019 win
Bafana Bafana defeated the Egyptian team 1-0, a victory few believed was possible. Local celebs were so happy they couldn’t help but take to social media to spread the awesome news.
South Africa thought it was impossible, and Bafana Bafana did it. Mzansi is a proud nation as their football team defeated the #AFCON2019 hosts, Egypt, 1-0 and move on to the quarterfinals. There they will face Nigeria on the 10th of July.
Overjoyed local celebs took to social media to celebrate the very unexpected but welcome victory.
The likes of AKA (an avid football fan), Tumi Morake and Maps Maponyane just had to share their happiness with their fans.
This comes after almost all of South Africa thought the team would walk away from the match as losers.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that some were so convinced Bafana would lose, they even went as far as making crazy promises, should the team actually win.
Well done to Bafana Bafana – you have the loud cheers of a nation behind you!
