Mpumalanga MEC-murder accused back in court
The Mpumalanga MEC, who handed himself over to police on Monday, is appearing in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s Court to apply for bail.
The MEC briefly appeared in court on Monday.
He handed himself over to the police, accompanied by his attorney, in the morning.
The 45-year-old MEC is alleged to have been involved in a shooting that killed two people and wounded a third.
The incident reportedly took place on 22 August, near a popular drinking spot in Mbombela.
