Tweeps react to Andile Mpisane & Tamia’s newborn baby’s name

Royal AM chairperson, Andile Mpisane and his wife Tamia have welcomed their first child together; a daughter named “Miaandy”, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The happy news was announced by the baby’s paternal grandmother Shauwn Mkhize, aka Mam’Mkhize on her Instagram account.
The baby’s birth makes Andile Mpisane a father for the 3rd time – at the tender age of 21 years old.
The Royal AM chairperson is also dad to two other girls: Florence “Flo” Mpisane, named after Andile Mpisane’s maternal grandmother Florence Mkhize, who was an anti-apartheid activist.
The former couple’s second daughter together is named Likuwe “Coco” Mpisane.

And Andile Mpisane’s third daughter – with his new wife Tamia – is named Miaandy, a mash-up of both their names.

But whilst the well-wishes streamed in, so did comments about the bizarre baby name.
Here is what tweeps had to say:
@Matema_: “Which language is Miaandy?
@TshxpoGP: “I get the combining of names and obviously, Tamia doesn’t have a say but come TF on!”
@PMamkhize: “A baby really seriously called Miaandy?”
Others had thoughts on Andile Mpisane being “SA’s Nick Cannon”
@point_solo: “Andile is competing with Nick Cannon”
@Black_heather3: “Andile will soon replace Nick Cannon, watch the space”
@Lonz_Smalls: “Andile is definitely gonna be one of those guys with an army of kids all over the country! He’s not yet 25 but already has 3? Yoh”
