Baboon on the loose in Northcliff

A baboon on the loose has been spotted moving through properties in Northcliff, Johannesburg.

SCP security first spotted the animal and is working with animal welfare group CLAW to try and capture the animal.

“The baboon was first spotted in Florida and it is now in Northcliff. CLAW is on the way to capture please bring your dogs and cats inside if you live in the area,” said Johan Veldman from SCP security.

Residents are urged to be safe and not to approach the animal.
