Babes Wodumo real name Bongekile Simelane has apologized to her fans after she’s disappeared on social media for three weeks.

The Qqom music queen was forced to take a break from Instagram after someone tried to hack her Instagram account. Wodumo explained that she couldn’t login anymore.

“Guess who’s back? Sorry for disappearing on you guys…someone tried to hack my account I couldn’t log in at all (sic)” she said.

Babes Wodumo is not the only South African celebrity who has fallen victim to social media account hacks.

Cassper Nyovest, Somizi, Bonang Matheba, Masechaba Ndlovu, Phindile Gwala, Thando Thabethe, Malusi Gigaba and Priddy Ugly are some of the local celebrities whose social media accounts and cellphones have been hacked by cyber thugs.

“Heard I aint the only one though. Thanks to everyone who helped me get back my account,” Wodumo said.
