Babes Wodumo visits her late boyfriend, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo. The late musician and the Gqom queen married and their union was blessed with a son, Sponge.

However, dark clouds emerged over them in December 2022 after Mampintsha died due to a stroke at the Durban hospital in which he was admitted.

Babes Wodumo, whose real name is Bongekile Mildred Simelane shared a photo of herself at her late husband’s grave. She shared the photo shortly after her suicidal post went viral on social media.

“Kade Ngivashele isoka lami @mampintsha_shimora,” she captioned post.

Bongekile recently wrote on her Instagram stories that she wishes to die, ““Engathi ngingafa.”

The post garnered various reactions; a majority urged her to keep pushing and to get help rather than kill herself.
