Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha announced that their son, Sponge is about to have his first single and it will be named after him.
The Gqom queen has returned to the studio after welcoming the birth of her first child in June and she’s super excited to feed her fans some new music.
Taking to social media, the West Ink boss teased the song, and followers reacted with fire emojis, which suggest that the song is a hit.
The baby boy was named Sponge by his parents due to Mampintsha’s mother claiming that Babes was not pregnant for her son, but has a sponge in her stomach.
The couple snubbed the mother’s claims but held on to the name Sponge.
Sponge now has an Instagram page with over twenty one thousand followers.
