Azanian People’s Organization director of elections, Kabelo Bokala says the party won’t be closing shop any time soon. Azapo has failed to attract voters in this year’s elections.
Bokala says the party will work on a strategy to grow its followers.
“We can see that Azanian people are looking at things differently and they are also looking at political parties differently. As long as black people are there and their issues are on the table. As long as the land issue is still on there table there is no shutdown,” Bokala said.

The Department of Labour on Friday warned South Africans about a social media scam promising a payout of R30 000 via the department.
Spokesperson Teboho Thejane said the scammers had re-created a department website through which they asked members of the public to check if their names were on a list of people entitled to withdraw the funds.
