Ayanda Thabethe attacks a Store that stopped selling Condoms

During this long lockdown, condoms have become one of the essential stuff needed in homes since the bedroom game is on the rise as there is nothing much to in the houses than that one.

Media personality, Ayanda Thabethe, revealed her opinion on the banning of condom sales at some stores, describing it as “stupid” in response to a Twitter user’s post.

The Department of Cooperative and Government Affairs has published new regulations which outline the ‘essential goods’ which will be allowed to continue working during South Africa’s 21-day coronavirus lockdown.

The regulations state that all retail shops and shopping malls must be closed, except where these essential goods are sold. The regulations also state that stores will be prohibited from selling any other goods.

Ayanda Thabethe took to social media On Thursday, 2 April 2020, described the banning of condom sales as “stupid.” The comment came follows a social media shared an image of a shop that has forbidden the selling of the contraceptive during the national lockdown.

The image was in response to Ayanda’s tweet announcing a reported global shortage of condoms.
