Requirements

Matric
Qualified motor or diesel mechanic
Min 5 years motor industry experience as a motor/diesel mechanic or a service advisor
2 years’ call center experience within a maintenance or warranties environment
RE5 Qualification
Computer Literate (Word & Excel)

Authorisations

Performs authorization of all repair/maintenance by:
Confirming dealer code and registration number on system.
Scrutinizing the maintenance history of the vehicle.
Checking for repeat work, warranty, extended warranties, goodwill claims and maintenance rebills/system notes.
Checking and ensuring that the vehicles with Service / Maintenance plans are handled accordingly.
Ensuring that the cost of maintenance/repair falls in line with the industry norm and the pre agreed pricing quoted to EFM.
Negotiations with EFM suppliers to obtain the best pricing.
Recording all cost savings made on the production system.
Refer all repairs that require technical inspection to the Technical Manager.
Confirming of correct discount and labour rate.
Inspection verification of all major repairs (collated by the Technical Manager).
Confirming that approval is received if authorization limit per delegation authority is exceeded.
Dealer liaison

Provides assistance and support to dealers by:
Communicates proactively on mutual interest.
Maximising company profile with the dealer.
Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times.
Treats dealers with respect in the same manner as that of a client.
Assisting with dealer queries.
Negotiations with Dealers for best pricing.
Customer Liaison

Provides assistance and support to customers by:
Assisting clients with queries or problems and advice.
Utilise the EFM dealer network, should the vehicle need to be taken for maintenance/repairs.
Create and improve customers’ confidence in EFM by ensuring a professional attitude at all times.
Assists clients with technical advice.
Arranges Technical Advisor visits to clients through the Technical Manager.
General

Performs various admin duties by:
Assist with ad-hoc requests as and when required by either the Maintenance Team Leader or Call Centre Manager
Assisting with general office queries.
Invoice Scrutiny and Capturing.
