Actor Aubrey Poo made his final appearance on SABC 3’s daily soapie Isidingo on Thursday night – 14th March 2019.

Viewers of the soapie were left surprised when Aubrey’s character – Gabriel “Moruti waTsotsi” Mothusi, had the gun turned on him by his accomplice, Nina Zamdela, played by Khabonina Qubeka.

Viewers of the show didn’t take Gabriel’s exit lightly as they expressed shock at how quickly he has left the show.

The Executive Producer of the show – Pumla Hopa expressed great gratitude to Aubrey and his talent, she thanked the actor for fully embodying the character that was Gabriel and giving his all to not only his character but to the storyline as well.

Aubrey Poo is no stranger to acting on TV soaps his best-known role to-date was when he played the role of Pelo Mohale in the SABC 2 soapie – Muvhango and remembers that he also used to host All You Need Is Love?

He is not only an actor but he’s also a singer and dancer as well.

A few years ago, Aubrey and his former Muvhango cast members were involved in a near-fatal car accident while travelling between Venda and Johannesburg. Aubrey sustained a few injuries while another staff member was badly hurt.

Thankfully, Aubrey is still here with us to share his talent with the rest of Mzansi hence that is why he was recently nominated for his 5th Naledi Theatre Award this year.

So where to for this talented actor? We have no idea, but what we do know is that you will probably find him in theatres, doing what he does best – acting.
