Assistant Who Accused Kanye West of Sexual Assault Is ‘In Hiding,’ Lawyer Reveals

Lauren Pisciotta, the former assistant who filed a sexual assault lawsuit against Kanye West, is currently in hiding and living in fear as her civil case against the rapper prepares to return to court. According to her attorney, Pisciotta has deleted most of her online presence and remains out of public view due to safety concerns and the emotional toll of the ongoing legal battle.

Pisciotta, 36, began working for Kanye West—who legally goes by Ye—in 2021. In June 2024, she filed her initial lawsuit alleging sexual harassment, stalking, wrongful termination, and breach of contract. In newly amended legal filings submitted in July 2025, the accusations have escalated significantly. Pisciotta now accuses West of sex trafficking, stalking, assault, and rape—claims that West and his legal team have categorically denied, calling them a fabrication.

Speaking to the BBC, Pisciotta’s lawyer Arick Fudali described her current state as one of fear and isolation. “She’s scared, and she’s just sort of sitting around and hiding—letting the lawsuit play out,” Fudali said. “It’s really sad—she’s gone through a lot. She is suffering and has been suffering since she began working for Mr. West.”

The civil case is set to return to court in the U.S. next month. In the meantime, Pisciotta remains in seclusion, reportedly receiving threats and warning calls advising her to drop the case. Her attorney alleges that this campaign of intimidation is part of a broader effort to silence her and discourage further legal action.

Kanye West’s Former Assistant ‘In Hiding’ After Filing Sexual Assault Lawsuit, Lawyer Says

In the amended complaint, Pisciotta claims she was targeted in a “swatting” incident just days after the initial filing. Swatting refers to the act of making false reports to emergency services to provoke an armed police response at a specific location. According to Pisciotta, police officers from the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office conducted an armed raid at her Florida home after receiving a false report that she had murdered her own mother.

“These are not just coincidences,” said Fudali. “This is a pattern of harassment intended to silence and intimidate her.”

Pisciotta’s amended legal filing also details graphic allegations of sexual assault. One particularly disturbing incident allegedly took place during the production of West’s Donda album. She claims that West entered her hotel room under the pretext of using the shower. After emerging from the bathroom, she says he dropped his towel and forcibly raped her orally.

The lawsuit also alleges that Kanye West frequently sent Pisciotta sexually explicit messages, including texts describing his fantasies about her. She further claims that Kanye West regularly engaged in sexual activity with Yeezy staff members at the company’s offices, sometimes recording these encounters and sending the videos to her.

Kanye West

Beyond the sexual misconduct, Pisciotta accuses West of exposing employees to “extreme displays of racism and antisemitism.” The lawsuit claims Kanye West frequently used racial and antisemitic slurs, interrogated staff he believed to be Jewish, and even instructed employees to draw swastikas in the workplace.

In an interview with the BBC podcast Fame Under Fire, hosted by Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty, Fudali argued that West’s own social media posts lend weight to Pisciotta’s allegations. “He has a song titled Heil Hitler, and he refers to himself as a ‘walking Me Too,’” Fudali noted. “When someone is publicly admitting these kinds of behaviors, you can imagine what’s happened behind closed doors.”

While none of Kanye West’s public statements directly admit to the specific legal claims, Fudali said these posts would be used as evidence in court. “All of his tweets and online statements will be presented during his deposition and trial,” he confirmed.

Kanye West’s legal team has not issued a new comment in response to the amended claims, but a spokesperson previously dismissed Pisciotta’s lawsuit as “fantasy fiction.” Speaking to USA Today, West’s spokesperson said, “Lauren Pisciotta’s amended complaint is the fourth version she has filed. Each new revision contradicts the others. This breathless new installment of fantasy fiction discredits all past, present, and future testimony.”

The statement concluded with a warning: “We stand ready to annihilate Ms. Pisciotta’s tall tales before a jury—an exoneration so inevitable that even she, lost in her fog of fantasy, must surely see it coming.”

As the court date nears, Pisciotta’s legal team says she remains committed to pursuing justice, even as she endures what they describe as a relentless campaign of harassment and fear. The case continues to raise serious questions about power, accountability, and the experiences of those who speak out against public figures.
