a detailed curriculum vitae and cover letter (please note that the first three (3) referees on your CV will be contacted with regard to reference checking);

Duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a recording and control system for movement of question papers within the prescribed assessment process.
Secure question papers and scripts as per prescriptions of the university safety standards.
Ensure timely duplication of question papers as well as on-time dispatch and return of moderated scripts.
Ascertain that moderated scripts reach academic staff for follow-on processes.
Quality assure and organize duplicated question papers according to sessions and keep secure.
Compile and produce documentation used during assessment sessions (session reports, class lists, contracts, invigilation roster, seating arrangements and raw markers).
Schedule invigilation sessions in accordance with university regulations.
Liaise with and engage relevant stakeholders to secure availability and arrangement of assessment venues according to prescribed requirements.
Manage daily examination sessions by ensuring that necessary and correct materials are ready and available.
Identify operations and systems gaps and propose improvement ideas, including new ways of doing things.
Deliver on assigned role in relation to graduation ceremonies.
Manage inventory and maintain supply of office stationery and accessories.
Provide front desk services and produce relevant office documents.
Arrange and coordinate logistics for meeting, training, information sessions, including travel and accommodation.
Operate computers, photocopiers and other office machines.
Communicate with stakeholders via telephone, email and other communication platforms.
Assist with certification enquiries and request.

Inherent requirements:
Grade 12 or National Vocational Certificate on NQF level 4.
One (1) year relevant working experience related to the duties and responsibilities as set out above.

Recommendations:
A valid driver’s license.
One year work experience in a higher education environment.

Required competencies:
Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to function with ease in the University’s richly diverse working environment(verbal and written)
Customer/client focus.
Ability to work independently in a high-pressure work environment.
Operational thoroughness
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or ITS Integrator.
Telephone and customer care etiquette.
Computer skills.

The salary scale is available on request.
