We currently have a General Assistant position (4 month maternity cover) available based in Sea Point, Cape Town.
Candidate Requirements
Grade 12 advantageous, however a minimum of Grade 10 required;
Relevant experience will be advantageous;
Ability to work shifts: 07h00 am – 18h00 pm; 07h00 am – 14h00 pm; 10h00 am – 18h00 pm.
Job Duties:
Cleaning:
Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items;
Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items;
Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy;
Dust and polish furniture and equipment;
Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops;
Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas;
Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers;
Laundry;
Adhoc duties.
The individual must be able to:
Work independently;
Have good manners;
Be Hard Working;
Work Mon to Sun, flexible hours;
Good communication skills;
Work under pressure.
