Full Job Description
The main purpose of the job is to provide safe, prompt, and efficient delivery service to our stores, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that all items are delivered without shortages, and are delivered on time.
The main KPIs are:
- Delivering stock/parcels to and from the warehouse
- Ensuring the vehicle is neatly packed, in such a way to prevent damages
- Daily vehicle inspection checks, before leaving the warehouse and on return
- Report on defects, research, and provide quotes for repairs from reliable service providers
- Maintain vehicle service books and book services when necessary
- Doube check quantities and supplies, to ensure correct delivery
- Reduce fuel costs by strategically planning a driving route based on the delivery schedule for the day/week
- Collect COD monies, and ensure amounts are correct and not over or short
- Customer services
- Product knowledge
Required:
- Matric or equivalent certification
- Valid and legal drives licence for (code 8)
- Two years of relevant experience
