President Cyril Ramaphosa to visit Aspen factory

A high-level government delegation is visiting the Eastern Cape on Monday. President Cyril Ramaphosa, Deputy President David Mabuza and Health Minister Zweli Mkhize are in the province.
They will visit Aspen Pharmacare facilities which have the capacity to produce 300-million doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine per annum. The delegation will also visit the Coega Special Economic Zone.
South Africa have vaccinated 231,605 healthcare workers, with 965 new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours. The country’s death toll stands at 52,663.
