Key Accountabilities and Outputs
Welding and General Maintenance : Assist with welding work and steel fabrication Assist the mechanical and electrical artisans with any general maintenance on machinery Attend to general repairs such as patching and waiting of walls Abide by all health and safety standards in place within the Production Department Ensure good housekeeping standards are adhered to within working area Ensure actions do not endanger oneself, fellow employees, equipment or property
Health Comply with all Food Safety Standards Receive training on / and adhere to the Hygiene Code of Conduct. Maintain GMP standards within the workplace Maintain a good standard of Personal Hygiene
Requirements
Qualification:
Matric or NQF4 qualification
Experience, Skill and behavioral competencies
1 Year
Previous experience within basic fitting and welding
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Keen attention to detail
Team Orientation
Weekend work as & when required
Overtime as and when required
Requirement to work shift pattern, rotating between day and night shift
Exposure to noise within the Production Plant
Exposure to heat in certain areas of the Production Plant
Exposure to bees
