People have been flocking to the home of legendary presenter, Bonginkosi ‘Zola 7’ Dlamini, to visit him following news that he has not been well lately.
One of the people who visited the former child star is seasoned actor Israel Matseke-Zulu, who said that he enjoyed his visit.
“I had a wonderful time with Zola, reminiscing about life, our careers, YizoYizo, our friendship, and how God and ancestors have been great to both of us.
“We are not going to die anytime soon. It was good to see you,” Israel captioned the video of him and Zola having a conversation.
In the video, the former Gomora actor can be heard opening up to Zola about his battle with gangrene that led to his leg being amputated.
“In the past, I was too relaxed, but now I am on a fast pace. I was comfortable back then, but now I am more curious,” Israel can be heard saying, while agreeing with Zola that he is now even faster than when he had both his legs.
Opening up about his operation to the publication, Israel said he is happy because he’s no longer in pain I felt in my leg was completely gone.
“I sometimes even forget I no longer have two legs. That’s how well I have been. I’ve been attending physiotherapy sessions and I have two more to go. They said I’ve healed quickly,” said Israel.
He said that the previous seven months were horrible.
“I couldn’t sleep because of the pain I’d feel in my leg. I consulted different doctors without getting any help.”
